About the Client:
Metric Search is now working with a leading air compressor manufacturer on an exciting new assignment. Our client has an international presence and focuses heavily on highly engineered products. They have expressive values and a clear vision to provide its customers with the best solutions on the market. They’re a high-end, well respected manufacturer with a product portfolio that focuses on compressor, vacuum pumps and other flow control equipment.
Branch Manager:
The Branch Manager is in charge of managing all functions across 2 sales & service offices in the Midwest (Chicago & Milwaukee). This includes managing sales, operations, service and admin staff. In addition, you will be accountable for the P/L and revenue performance. Working directly with the senior management, you will be directly responsible for devising and implementing strategy to grow the revenue as well as making critical decisions to do so.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Devise sales strategy to efficiently grow the revenue and profitability of the company
- Evaluate current operational performance and implement change for improvements
- Leading 20+ employees and circa $10m revenue
Qualifications:
- 5 years’ experience in sales and operations management
- Strong leader who has managed teams
- Experience with compressors, pumps or other rotating equipment (preferred)
- Experience with industrial products (essential)
- A 4 years degree in engineering and/or business administration (preferred)
- Experience running a P/L
Skills/Personal Qualifications:
- Based in the Chicago or Milwaukee areas
- Proven ability to sell and educate on technical products
- Self-starting attitude towards sales
- An excellent communicator with management experience
- A critical thinker who requires little guidance to solve problems
- High energy, self-driven person with an entrepreneurial outlook to business
