Site Safety & Health Officer QC/Superintendent - Camp Lejeune, NC and Cherry Point, NC,

Compensation:
💲 $50/hr + $125/day per diem
💲 Completion Bonus: $150/month
💲 Weekly Pay
Schedule:
⏰ M-F, 0700 - 1500 | 40hrs per week
Project Scope:
- Camp Lejeune: Oversee safety for the construction of Operational Support Facilities (OSF), utilities, parking, pedestrian bridge, sidewalks, site work, and related civil, excavation, utilities, confined space, and fall protection tasks.
- Cherry Point: Oversee safety for the construction of channel and basin areas, including excavation, fall protection, confined space, and air monitoring tasks.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in construction covering the major trades involved | 2 years as a superintendent | 2 years in QC | 5 years of construction safety
- Certifications: EM 385, CQCM, OSHA 30, First Aid, Fall Protection
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations
- Provide safety training as needed
- Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety practices
- Manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence
- Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required
Skills:
- Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- OSHA outreach training experience is a plus
Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of EHS and regulatory construction standards
- Ability to communicate effectively regarding industry standards
Work Environment:
Primarily in warehouse, clinical, manufacturing, and construction settings. May require after-hours work or occasional weekends in response to emergencies.
