Title: CVC Investment Director
Japan/Asia-focused Venture Capital Fund in the San Francisco Bay Area is on the market for a Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) Investor who will lead the full lifecycle of the corporate venture capital investments, from sourcing and due diligence to closing deals and supporting portfolio companies. You'll play a key role in developing our investment strategy, driving business growth, and representing the firm to partners and the broader entrepreneurial community.

Fluency in business-level Japanese required. This position requires some travel to Tokyo HQ
As a CVC Investor, you will:
- Lead the Charge: Drive all aspects of our CVC investment process, from deal sourcing and due diligence to deal closing and supporting portfolio companies.
- Strategize for Success: Contribute to the development and execution of our CVC business strategy, fueling our growth and expanding our influence.
- Be a Key Representative: Represent our firm and our Limited Partners within the broader entrepreneurship ecosystem, building valuable relationships and networks.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with our collaborative CVC team, supporting all processes with a special focus on quantitative modeling and analysis. You'll also have the autonomy to drive your own deals in areas you're passionate about.
- Contribute to Growth: Play a pivotal role in our fundraising efforts and support our Limited Partners' new business development initiatives through partnerships with current and prospective portfolio companies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5-10 years of relevant venture capital investing experience
- Strong financial modelling and qualitative skills required
- Corporate Strategy, CVC Investment / Structure Experience required
- Experience with high-growth tech or Fortune500 Companies in go-to-market strategy, corporate development or experience with Japanese corporations.
