Job Summary:
Rently is strategically growing and seeking a motivated Junior Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business leads for our intercom and controlled access solutions. This is a great opportunity for a driven individual with 1-2 years of experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) in a related field. The ideal candidate is ambitious, eager to grow with the company, and ready to work hard to spread the word about our product and secure demo opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate new net business for intercom and controlled access solutions, focusing on single family/multifamily communities.
- Proactively reach out to potential clients and introduce them to Rently’s innovative solutions.
- Set up a minimum of 15 product demos per month.
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in the single family and multifamily housing sectors.
- Work closely with Senior Account Executives to transition leads and ensure smooth follow-up on demo opportunities.
- .Actively contribute to achieving team sales targets by consistently generating high-quality leads.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position Rently's products in the market.
- Understand Rently’s value relative to single family and multifamily operators within respective regions.
- Cross-functionally collaborate with internal teams.
- Maintain a 5 day in office presence at our Los Angeles office.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Proven experience generating new business leads in a similar role, preferably within the single family/multifamily or technology sector
- Strong ability to identify potential clients, build relationships, and create interest in new product offerings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships
- Self-motivated and highly driven to meet and exceed weekly demo and lead generation targets
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with a willingness to grind and go the extra mile
- Familiarity with CRM software and lead tracking tools to manage outreach and demo scheduling
Education and Experience
- 1-2 years of experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or similar role in a related field
- Experience working in sales for intercom, access control, or similar technology solutions is highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required
For applicants located in California, the salary range for this full-time role is expected to be $27.00-$30.00 an hour. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Rently reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications, and that the expected salary range may be different for candidates located outside of California.
