VP of Operations - Building Automation

Position Summary:
The Director of Operations for Building Automation oversees the BAS division's daily operations, ensuring projects, installations, and services are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role drives operational excellence, financial performance, and customer satisfaction while managing cross-functional teams and aligning operations with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day operations, including project management, field services, and system installations.
- Manage and mentor a team of project managers, engineers, and service staff.
- Ensure timely and on-budget delivery of building automation projects.
- Maintain client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of the BAS division.
- Implement process improvements and adopt new technologies for efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field.
- 8+ years in building automation, HVAC, or similar industries, with leadership experience.
- Strong project management, financial oversight, and team leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
