Position: Personal Injury Case Manager
About the Company:
We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Case Manager to assist our attorneys in managing personal injury cases from intake through resolution. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth case management, from initial client communication to settlement negotiations and trial preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a variety of employment-related pre-litigation and litigation cases.
- Manage attorneys' calendars and court filing deadlines.
- Oversee case intake, maintain detailed client records, and coordinate meetings.
- Communicate regularly with clients, attorneys, and opposing counsel to provide status updates on cases.
- Review cases and provide updates to attorneys on case progress.
- Request and organize necessary documents from clients and employers.
- Monitor negotiation status and ensure case progress.
- Coordinate the preparation of case files, legal documents, and exhibits.
- Schedule meetings, depositions, and hearings.
- Ensure compliance with legal and internal firm procedures, responding promptly to client needs.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in case management or as a legal assistant, preferably within personal injury law.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with legal case management software such as Filevine is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Willingness to assist others when needed.
Pay range and compensation package:
Pay Range: $70,000 - $100,000 a year
