Position Overview:
Our client, a well-established personal injury law firm, is seeking a skilled and motivated Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney with 2-6 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for advocating on behalf of injured clients, possess excellent litigation skills, and be adept at handling cases from pre-litigation through trial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury claims, including pre-litigation and litigation phases
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, discovery, and settlements
- Advocate for clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal support staff to prepare cases for trial
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing case updates and legal counsel
- Analyze medical records, police reports, and other documentation to build strong cases
- Develop case strategies and work towards achieving favorable settlements or verdicts for clients
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in California
- 2-6 years of plaintiff personal injury experience, including trial experience
- Proven track record of successful settlements and verdicts
- Strong communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Experience with auto accident, premises liability, and product liability cases
