TechPoint, located in Indianapolis, is a key driver in expanding Indiana’s digital innovation economy. We are seeking a Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer (SVP/COO) who will play a pivotal role in implementing the organization's strategy and ensuring daily operations align with TechPoint’s mission. The SVP/COO will oversee multiple teams, including Talent, Innovation, and Marketing, to advance TechPoint's initiatives such as Xtern, Venture Connect, and the Mira Awards. This leadership role is critical in building an inclusive culture, developing leaders, and driving performance.
This position reports to the President and CEO, offers competitive compensation, and plays a significant role in shaping the future of TechPoint and its mission to transform Indiana’s economy through digital innovation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement TechPoint’s strategic priorities.
- Drive cross-sector initiatives and innovation efforts within TechPoint and their partners.
- Lead a team of direct reports across Talent, Innovation, and Marketing.
- Manage and coach team members, fostering a culture of inclusivity and excellence.
- Oversee TechPoint’s operating systems, budgeting, contracting, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure on-time, accurate budget reporting to the CEO and Leadership Team.
- Represent TechPoint externally as needed and support organizational initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Minimum 5 years of executive leadership experience overseeing operations and managing teams.
- Proven experience in talent recruitment and development.
- Background in the tech sector is preferred but not required.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for people development.
- Experience with financial oversight and grant reporting
- A servant leader, passionate about investing in others, who earns respect through actions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to timely execution.
