We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage capital projects at our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project development, execution, and forecasting. This role requires a strong ability to collaborate with various teams, including procurement, engineering, and leadership, to ensure successful project completion.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee capital projects from planning to execution.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive capital plan for the facility.
- Ensure consistent application of project execution processes across teams.
- Work with procurement to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery for capital purchases.
- Lead front-end development and planning for capital projects.
- Implement accurate monthly forecasting to manage capital expenditure according to the plan.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop precise cost estimates for capital projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science in Engineering is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in project management.
- 3+ years of experience safely executing field work.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience in presentations.
- Proven ability to collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and leadership teams.
- Capacity to learn and understand the facility’s processes and layout.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- SAP proficiency or experience is a plus.
- Must be working toward PMP certification if not already certified.
- Must be capable of working in a chemical plant environment.
