Facility Engineer – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Job Overview
The Facility Engineer will be responsible for managing facility-related projects, particularly within GMP-regulated environments. This role includes overseeing facility infrastructure, pest management programs, and utilities such as purified water systems and air handlers. Candidates should have a strong understanding of facilities operations within a manufacturing setting and the ability to review, redline, and field-verify GMP drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead facility projects, ensuring compliance with GMP and pharmaceutical standards.
- Manage pest control programs and ensure facility infrastructure supports operational needs.
- Review, redline, and field-verify GMP drawings for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Provide oversight for utilities, including purified water systems, HVAC, and air handlers.
- Monitor facility maintenance schedules, ensuring equipment and systems operate efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in facility management in a GMP-regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of utility systems, including purified water, HVAC, and air handling units.
- Proficiency in reviewing and redlining engineering drawings.
- Experience managing pest control and infrastructure maintenance programs.
Nice to Haves
- Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
- Familiarity with utility system commissioning and maintenance in a regulated environment.
- Knowledge of environmental health and safety (EHS) standards.
