The Role:
As a Mortgage Processor, you'll play a crucial role in guiding loan applications from submission to closing. You'll work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze loan applications for completeness and accuracy
- Verify applicant information and documentation
- Order and review credit reports, appraisals, and title documents
- Communicate with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders
- Prepare loan files for underwriting review
- Stay updated on industry regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Mortgage processing experience is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
