Our client is a leading crypto embedded finance player, with a focus on payment connectivity. They are scaling out having received fresh funding, and as they bring on more partners and customers, need to increase the size of the SRE team. They are looking for an Azure specialist in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Design: Build scalable and highly available infrastructure for our client’s financial platform.
- Collaboration: Work with engineering teams to establish and maintain reliability standards.
- Monitoring & Performance: Monitor system health, identify issues, and ensure high uptime and performance.
- Automation: Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
- Incident Management: Lead incident response, conduct reviews, and implement preventative measures.
- Playbook Design: Create incident response procedures to handle incidents effectively.
- System Reliability: Enhance system reliability through testing, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery planning.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior team members and support SRE team growth.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years in an SRE or similar role, ideally in fintech or crypto.
- Programming Skills: Proficient in Python, Go, Java, or C#, focusing on automation.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep experience with Azure.
- Containerization: Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Observability Tools: Experience with DataDog for system monitoring.
- Infrastructure as Code: Proficient in Terraform or similar tools.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Skilled with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and troubleshooting complex issues.
