Ainsley Search Group is seeking a Quality Engineer for a Fast-Growing Manufacturer based in Northampton county. The ideal candidate will report to the Corporate Director of Quality, support the site’s quality inspection, CAPA, process improvement and ensure the site is in compliance with customer quality, quality standard and regulations. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with lucrative compensation, bonus and benefit, in addition, the company would like to develop the right individual to become the Regional Quality Manager in the near future.
Responsibilities:
Report to the Corporate Quality Director to support process improvement and maintain quality standards for the local processing and distribution site.
Diagnose process and quality related issue across incoming materials, equipment, production and engineering, implement root-cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve bottleneck.
Oversee inspection process across incoming, in-process and final inspection, ensure proper documentation of inspection and reporting.
Interact and collaborate with site QA Analyst, inspectors, quality manager, sales teams to support, resolve customer quality issues and customer complaints.
Collect, analyze, and communicate quality data, non-conformance data, provide recommendations for process and quality improvement to business partners (Engineers, Production Associates, Management, Operations, Sales, Suppliers, etc.).
Participate internal audits, supplier audits, and support customer audits, ensure suppliers’ manufacturing process & inspection process meets customer specifications, maintain proper documentation on audits and develop corrective plans.
Analyze process flows and identify enhancements of quality, cost reduction and throughput.
Conduct root cause and process analysis for re-work/return products, identify bottleneck and recommend revision on process to reduce recurring re-work and non-conformance issues.
Communication with customers on a regular basis regarding customer specification, quality issue, customer audits, etc.
Monitor QA and inspection process on the production floor, observe and document manufacturing process and analyze manufacturing data; maintain a regular communication with internal staffs to educate staffs regarding process changes, quality and improvement plan.
Develop training program for employees and standardize quality manual.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field.
3+ years of experience working as a Quality Engineer, Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or Industrial Engineer in manufacturing industry
Experience with blue prints, GD&T Principles, tolerance, gauge reproducibility and repeatability, auditing techniques.
Excellent people and communication skills, able to motivate employees to adapt and patriciate changes and improvement.
Able to work independently and under limited supervision; creative and proactive in problem solving.
