*Candidates must live in Virginia and be able to go to Clifton Forge, VA location to pick up laptop
*Candidates must be willing to come to Clifton Forge, VA once every 45-60 days

This position is a replacement role to be the subject matter expert (SME) for our Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop environment.
The role will be responsible for +150 Compute servers hosted in Azure, and 200 Windows Desktops. This is not a helpdesk role.
Desktop support will be managing the desktops using Group Policy/Active Directory.
In depth Active Directory/Group Policy knowledge/experience is required.
Azure IaaS experience would be a plus.
The selected candidate will also assist in the maintaining, tuning, and hardening of the Microsoft 365 E5 solution that is already deployed.
The selected candidate will be added to an on-call rotation that will be one week a month.
Work requires excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with a high technical skill level.
Position requires frequent interaction with employees, customers, technicians, analysts, and specialists to troubleshoot problems related to the use of single and/or multiple information systems.
Work may include creation, installation, and modification of software, testing, and documentation on a variety of platforms.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and complete assigned project responsibilities under limited supervision.
