Job Title: Business Analyst
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Business Analyst to participate in all phases of the project life cycle and processes for projects of varying complexity. This role will require defining success criteria for product development while aligning company and department initiatives.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and perform analysis of specific business and system challenges and translate them into system requirements to meet initiatives, requirements, and expectations.
- Perform project management duties that support the initiation, planning, execution, and completion of projects as needed.
- Must be familiar with Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Construct workflow charts/diagrams that meet department criteria and aligns with system capabilities.
- Document all defined requirements and maintain any changes made to the Requirements Document (RD) and ensure defined requirements are aligned according to system/program development.
- Resolve issues/problems in a timely manner and provide recommendations to meet project deadlines/milestones.
- Inform and conduct follow-up with appropriate department personnel on all problems or potential problem situations in a timely manner; provide recommendations for resolution.
- Establish, build and maintain relationships with designated department personnel to assist in the ease of implementation and project success.
- Continue to develop analytical skills and knowledge of the business and gain familiarity with systems development methodologies, project planning, and project control disciplines.
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in Information Technology and/or project management required.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
- Must have excellent project management skills and be knowledgeable of project planning and control disciplines.
- Must possess exceptional communication skills.
- Must be familiar with systems development methodologies, business case development, and modeling techniques and methods.
- Must possess analytical skills.
