Looking to continue to support the EMS industry? Targeting an on-site Supply Chain Director located near Mankato, MN. In this leadership role, you'll oversee material processes and manage a team of procurement, materials, and planning managers while reporting directly to the VP. The starting salary is between $150K-$165K with a bonus incentive. Interested?
Supply Chain Director Responsibilities:
- Establish a process to ensure products are delivered on time and in the right quantity
- Reduce costs through efficient operations, minimizing waste, and negotiating better terms with suppliers
- Improve inventory performance by optimizing stock levels, increasing turnover, and
- Support and build internal and external relationships
- Participate in the regional leadership team and add value to refine business processes
- Manage supplier relationships by reviewing various issues, and resolving corrective actions and audits.
- Support new customer introductions or large prospects
- Report KPI metrics
Supply Chain Director Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Materials Management.
- Expertise in MRP planning, strategic & tactical purchasing, inventory management, and P&L management.
- Strong knowledge of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry is preferred, but not required.
- Practical experience in multiple locations
- Entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to thrive in high-change, high-pace environments.
- Proficiency in Excel including Kinaxis, Rapid Response, and Oracle ERP systems.
- SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process management experience.
- Ability to enhance and improve functional processes or technologies.
