The Multimedia Technician will work onsite full-time to manage and support conferencing technologies in our New York Office. This position will collaborate with teams to ensure optimal system performance and troubleshoot issues for attorneys and Business professionals, working closely with the Firm’s internal teams to ensure a high-touch experiences for all users.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate audio and video conferences between Firm locations and with external participants as applicable.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex conferencing system issues, including audio and video quality, connectivity, and integration problems.
- Contribute to the deployment, repair and maintenance of all online and on premises conferencing technologies, and equipment.
- Collaborate with the IT Operations Manager for US to identify and evaluate new conferencing tools and technologies to improve productivity and enhance user experience.
- Coordinate support with various departments to ensure accurate and timely conference room arrangements for meetings.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis of issues and work with the IT Operations Manager for US to implement effective solutions to prevent recurring problems.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their conferencing requirements and provide recommendations on appropriate solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex computer and peripheral hardware and software issues as needed.
- Stay current with the latest conferencing technology trends, advancements and vendor roadmaps.
Qualifications
- Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing and supporting conferencing technologies, preferably within a professional services or legal environment.
- Expertise in online conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, or similar.
- Expertise in monitoring and maintaining audio visual equipment, such as projectors, cameras, microphones, and sound system components.
- Proficient in troubleshooting audio and video conferencing issues, network connectivity, and integration problems.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to work successfully and occasionally self-directed on assigned projects.
- Flexible, able to be on-call after business hours as needed.
- Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support the organization’s evolving needs or the department’s mission.

Salary range based on experience level and location is estimated to be in the range of $65,000-85,000.
