At Mercy, our team strives to provide exceptional care of the 72,000 patients we annually serve. As a professional nurse in our Emergency Trauma Center, you will interact with nearly every healthcare specialty, caring for patients with minor illnesses to life-threatening diseases or injury.
Qualifications:
- Education: BSN orhave a BSN within three (3) years of job acceptance.
- Licensure: Possess a current RN licensure with the Missouri State Board of Nursing or current RN Missouri temporary work permit.
- Experience: 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
- Certifications: ETC and Acute Care Center RN's must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period. ETC RN's must have a current ACLS card or complete a course within 6 months of their hire date. ETC RN's must have current PALS or ENPC, and TNCC cards or complete courses within one year of hire date.
- Skills, knowledge and abilities: Demonstrates skills in human relations and communication, written verbal, and electronic. Demonstrates clinical competence in patient care delivery. Possesses the ability to assess data and assist personnel in providing appropriate level of care. Performs responsibilities while fulfilling the Philosophy of skills, knowledge and abilities.
