Field Service Engineer III
Location: Montclair, NJ
Shift: M-F, 8AM to 5PM
Pay: $108K - $130K annually, based on experience
Summary: The Field Service Engineer maintains and troubleshoots high-end medical imaging equipment, ensuring proper operation, calibration, and compliance with regulations. The role involves a combination of field support, technical support, and software/application assistance.
Responsibilities:
Field Support (75%):
- Troubleshoot and repair medical imaging equipment.
- Adhere to preventative maintenance schedules.
- Maintain customer service and internal records.
- Resolve issues related to electrical, mechanical, software, and hydraulic systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including ISO 13485.
Technical Support (10%):
- Provide online/phone support for imaging equipment.
- Communicate with customers for issue resolution and follow-up.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, hardware, and software.
Application Support (5%):
- Work with radiologists and medical staff on imaging solutions.
- Stay updated on trends and issues in the field.
Software Support (10%):
- Support software for X-ray and Vascular systems.
- Use DICOM for image management and database administration.
- Provide training and phone/online support for Windows and Linux systems.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience with high-end imaging equipment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of networks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand or walk for long periods.
