We are looking for a:
Rollingstock Control Engineer
The resource will be part of a team focused on the design, prototype, V&V a particular fault detection system to replace an obsolete system/solution for the vehicle manufacturer.
Technical requirements:
- Experience in electronics, hardware, embedded systems solution with rail car/locomotive system
- Focus on test, verification, and delivery of a CBTC signalling system including Onboard, Ground Based and Operational Control subsystems.
- Be an interface with the engineering team and the V&V leaders
- Report eventual anomalies during Static, Dynamic and Simulated testing and be proactive in facing them
- Be responsible for the architecture definition according to the specified requirements and safety integrity level
- Review and Verification of the project to guarantee that the functionalities and performances of the requirements are achieved.
- Work in an AGILE team and scrum framework.
- Safety first focus for all, project activities.
Preferable requirements:
- Minimum Education Bachelor’s Degree in Computer or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in railway subsystems, or system integration.
- Good communication, planning and organization/control skills
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to be work both independently and as part of a team
- To be proactive and able to anticipate
