This role offers the chance to work on complex forensic investigations, provide expert consultation, and grow within a dynamic and supportive environment. Regular travel to project sites within the region will be part of the job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site inspections, collect data, and conduct testing.
- Prepare detailed reports that capture findings, analyses, and recommendations.
- Work with local authorities to guide repair processes.
- Conduct research and develop technical content for industry publications.
- Present technical information to clients and colleagues.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development efforts.
What You Bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license
- Over 10 years of experience in forensic engineering or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for site inspections.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience serving as an expert witness.
- Background in design, construction, or forensic assessments.
- Knowledge of storm damage and building envelope evaluations is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working at heights and in diverse environments.
- Ability to climb, stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
