Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our oil and gas team. The ideal candidate will oversee various project phases, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Design and Engineering: Collaborate with engineering teams to create and review technical designs, specifications, and drawings for oil and gas projects.
- Project Execution: Monitor project progress, manage resources, and ensure that work is performed in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project objectives.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to management, highlighting progress, challenges, and proposed solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all project activities adhere to industry regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or related field).
- 3-5 years of experience in project engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in project management software and engineering design tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
