Effy Jewelry’s in-house creative team handles end-to-end marketing and content creation for all internal stakeholder teams including—but not limited to—retail locations (land + cruise ship stores), cruise marketing operations, eCommerce, special project teams, and business partners.

Senior Creative Project Manager – Core Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of 2 project managers and 1 producer, providing strategic oversight and fostering professional growth.
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of current team processes, developing and presenting improvement roadmaps for enhanced team performance, efficiency, and scalability.
- Drive the establishment of new workflows, project frameworks, and operational best practices aligned with organizational goals.
- Optimize existing schedules, workflows, and resource allocations to maximize team output and creative quality.
- Own the management of a diverse and high-stakes portfolio of creative projects, ensuring seamless end-to-end execution across all initiatives.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for senior leadership, internal stakeholders, and external partners, proactively communicating project needs, risks, objectives, and outcomes at the executive level.
- Contribute to strategic planning, leading cross-functional initiatives and creative projects that align with broader organizational priorities.
- Oversee and delegate key administrative tasks, such as budget management, invoice approvals, resource planning, and vendor negotiations.
- Manage and prioritize the creative team’s workload, expertly balancing complex and competing demands with a focus on high-impact departmental and corporate goals.
- Take ownership of recurring meetings, leading with confidence to drive high-level, strategic discussions and ensure actionable outcomes.
- Provide leadership to creative teams (designers, copywriters, etc.) by offering clear direction, actionable tasks, and consistent follow-ups to keep momentum strong.
- Scope projects with precision, balancing budgets, timelines, and potential risks while identifying opportunities for added value and innovation.
- Deliver regular progress updates to senior leadership, presenting key metrics, insights, and data-driven recommendations.
- Optimize resource allocation across a broad range of projects, ensuring that the team is well-equipped with the tools, materials, and information needed to deliver on time and within scope.
- Create, manage, and enforce complex project timelines (from both templates and scratch), adjusting to evolving project demands, team capacity, and organizational priorities.
- Ensure consistent and timely execution of all team deliverables, setting high standards for creative excellence.
- Collaborate with the Director of Creative Management on long-term strategic reporting, preparing weekly, monthly, and annual performance reviews with actionable insights.
- Lead a fast-paced, high-volume creative environment, expertly managing shifting priorities and navigating changes with agility.
- Continuously introduce innovative ideas, systems, and energy to the team, positioning the department as a creative powerhouse.
- Consistently exceed expectations with forward-thinking, on-time (or ahead-of-schedule) project delivery.
Who You Are:
- A strategic, senior leader with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to oversee and guide large-scale creative operations.
- Proven track record in optimizing team performance and driving process improvements in fast-paced environments.
- Expert in communication, both verbal and written, with the ability to distill complex information for C-suite stakeholders and external partners.
- Confident decision-maker with strong attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive, resourceful, and driven, with the capacity to lead independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Results-oriented, with the ability to command meetings, guide discussions, and drive actionable outcomes that align with broader business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Required: 5-7 years proven Project Management and/or managerial experience
- Preference: creative/design management experience
- Cruise or related work experience a plus!
- Required: Mastery of project management software (Asana, Monday.com, Workfront, Smartsheet, Wrike, or similar)
- Relevant training and/or certifications in Project Manager
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoom, Slack
- Proven track record managing project managers, producers, and/or program managers
- Preferred: strong familiarity/experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
