Summary/Objective
Ensures that all Quality Assurance and Quality Control policies and practices are maintained and followed and that products distributed by the company are within food safety and quality specifications.

- Quality Assurance Lab Technicians.
Essential Functions:
▪ Manages Quality Assurance staff to ensure they perform verification, validation, and quality duties properly.
▪ Ensures adherence to OSHA, FDA, FSMA, GMP’s, HACCP, SOP’s, Organic, Non-GMO, SAI
Global regulations and policies.
▪ Ensures compliance with company sanitation procedures and ensures that sanitation is
documented and recorded.
▪ Review and recommend disposition of held raw material, WIP, and finished products.
▪ Provide independent oversight of the production lines, record the product weight, bag seals, code, and test the metal detectors. Effectively communicate deviations from standards or process procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
- Min 5+ years' supervisory or management experience in a food manufacturing environment working in or with Production, Quality Control, Inspection, or Sanitation
- HACCP and FSMA certification. SQF or BRC certification helps. Comprehensive knowledge of FDA, Organic, Non-GMO, and SSOP requirements.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Qualifications
- Bilingual: English, Spanish
- At least three years of experience leading training classes.
