2nd shift HR Coordinator
Job Description
Summary of the Position:
The human resources coordinator provides full, first point-of-contact Human Resources support to company employees and addresses employee issues, initiates and executes Human Resource related programs.
Functions of the Position:
- Handles HR related questions and issues. Documents conversations with employees and communicates issues and concerns to the HR manager. Helps support compliance for all policies. Checks Attendance line daily and updates supervisors on absences.
- Assists with recruiting efforts and new employee orientation packets, off boarding paperwork, etc.
- Weekly review of timecards to ensure warnings are issued timely, intake of medical notes and related timecard adjustments.
- Orders and tracking of employee uniforms and lockers; escalation of concerns when needed.
- Works with security access software to create badges for employees and temps.
- Responsible for immediately reporting all safety and quality issues to management.
- Responsible for partnering with others, sharing knowledge, skills and information within assigned team and across functional areas.
- Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.
Qualifications:
-Education, Experience, and Knowledge:
- High School Diploma/ AA
- Two+ years experience in HR or Customer Service
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective computer skills
- Bilingual- Spanish/English Preferred
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Afternoon shift, options below:
12-8:30pm
1-9:30pm
2-10:30pm
3pm-11:30pm

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
