Outside Sales Representative (Richmond, Virginia)
The ideal candidate is a competitive self-starter that develops sales strategies for existing clients and attracts new clients. You must be comfortable sourcing new sales opportunities and closing sales to achieve goals. You will play a key role in generating revenue by cultivating current customer relationships, producing leads and qualifying prospects, while promoting the Woodford Plywood product mix.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
- Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long-lasting relationships
- Meet personal and team sales targets
- Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
- Attend meeting, sales events and product knowledge training to keep abreast of the latest developments
- Report and provide feedback to management
Qualifications
- Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- At least 1 - 3 years' of sales experience
- Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and driven
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
