Our client is looking to fill the role of Medical Affairs Consultant - Managed Markets Strategy. This position will be fully remote.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the CNS Medical Managed Markets Strategy Director in the development and execution of Medical Affairs scientific plans for Payers and other Health Care Decision Makers.
- Assist with creation of HCDM resources that effectively communicate clinical, economic, and humanistic value (e.g. pipeline, disease state education, pre-approval information exchange, health care economic information, population health programs)
- Assist with development of customized value propositions/messages for Health Care Decision Makers.
- Assist with identifying, analyzing, and communicating evolving payer, policy, and healthcare landscape insights.
- Assist with evidence generation projects for Health Care Decision Makers.
Required Qualifications:
- Mid-level Medical Affairs professional (strategy focused) with experience in managed care, health systems, and Pharmacoeconomics.
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Lead Medical plan tactics, including development of field resources for payer/HCDM engagement.
- Prior knowledge Veeva Promotional and Medical review processes highly preferred.
- Prior experience working with 3rd party vendors and agencies for project execution.
- MS Office proficiency.
- Proficiency in pharma code and all guidelines concerning Medical Affairs activities.
- Advanced Science Degree (e.g., MD, PhD, PharmD, PA, NP).
