MUST HAVE:
- 2-4 years experience in SCADA programming
- 4-5 years of Control Engineering experience
- B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or something similar)
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience in implementing, upgrading, migrating, or supporting SCADA systems at the plant level.
- Soft skills: managing a project, communication, leadership.
PLUSSES:
- Experience in Pharmaceutical, Food, or CPG industries.
- Good working knowledge of cGMPs
- AVEVA Wonderware
- PLC experience

Insight Global is seeking a Senior SCADA Engineer for one of our health and wellness companies in Winston Salem, NC. As a key player, you’ll provide technical leadership and expertise in SCADA systems and control engineering within our manufacturing facilities. Your responsibilities will span various aspects of control systems, including design, implementation, and optimization. Some of the responsibilities will include:
- Analyze the entire fleet of SCADA systems in the region and propose improvements and business development strategies to Service Sales and Business Development partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to standardize business processes across fulfillment sites, ensuring efficient decision-making and an accelerated SCADA implementation schedule.
- Regularly update the business leadership team on project progress and escalate issues as needed to drive resolution.
- Optimize business cases and lead value engineering initiatives related to SCADA offerings.
- Take ownership of next-generation SCADA products, including design and certification according to safety standards (e.g., UL, IEC).
- Develop technical purchase specifications and support the creation of Hardware-In-the-Loop test equipment.
- Create and release production and service drawings, as well as bills of material.
