Job Duties:
Oversee the review of the weekly bid list to ensure the team focuses on the right opportunities, prioritizing preferred clients in bidding activities.
Analyze project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work and start developing accurate estimates, including costs for materials, labor, equipment, and other project expenses.
Conduct precise take-offs from blueprints to capture the necessary scope for competitive bidding while adhering to company standards.
Review the scope of work and bidder instructions to ensure proposals are comprehensive and all risks are identified before submission.
Follow the bid review process, making necessary revisions to bids as required.
Collaborate with Senior and Chief Estimators on bid margins and support recommendations for adjustments when appropriate.
Assist Project Managers with the completion of bid submittal forms as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in commercial construction.
Technical degree, bachelor's degree, or currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management or a related field
Basic knowledge of document editing software, such as BlueBeam, Adobe Acrobat, Plan Grid, and Plexxis
Familiarity with the industry, particularly in drywall, steel stud metal framing, paint, EIFS, etc.

- Pay: $70K-85K DOE
