Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of building automation and control system projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and performance targets are met.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design control systems that integrate HVAC, chillers, boilers, and other mechanical systems, focusing on optimizing energy performance.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of BAS, utilizing systems such as Tridium Niagara, ALC, Johnson Controls Metasys, Bacnet, and Schneider Electric.
- Manage project documentation using software like AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Autodesk Revit, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards.
- Fostered strong client relationships, provided regular project updates, and ensured high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and an EIT or PE license are a plus.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in building automation systems, with a proven track record of managing successful projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, and MS Project with a solid understanding of DDC controls and BACnet protocols.
- Familiarity with building automation systems such as Tridium, Distech, Alerton, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls Metasys, and similar technologies.
- A local and stable work history is necessary, as it demonstrates reliability and firm performance in past roles.
