The Manager of Technology Project Management is a hands on leadership role managing a team of financial markets focused technology projects managers.
In this role you will:
-Collaborate with firm, business and technology leadership to define, prioritize, and develop strategic initiatives appropriately positioned to generate optimal revenue
-Manage a team of senior project managers leading projects across, Execution/Trading, Equity L/S, Macro, Credit, Operations, and Finance
-Recruit, retain and develop a high performing team focused on delivering commercial outcomes
-Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership and business stakeholders on the progress of global strategic projects
-Set and evolve the process for technical projects while fostering an environment of innovation
-Oversee the building of tools to help improve project analytics including progress, budgeting, and resource allocation
Requirements
-10+ years of experience as a project and/or product manager
-Prior experience leading project and/or product management teams in an agile environment
-Deep knowledge of financial markets and relevant technologies
-Understanding of the trading life cycle and front to back trading technology
-Experience recruiting, retaining, and developing top talent
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with senior executives and other stakeholders.
-Experience with buy side technology preferred
