Role: IBM BPM Developer
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States/Des Moines, IA
Day 1 Hybrid Onsite
Job Summary: As an IBM BPM Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business process management solutions using IBM BPM tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design workflows, and integrate applications. Your expertise in Java will be essential for enhancing existing processes and developing new functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement BPM applications using IBM BPM.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Create process models, workflows, and user interfaces within the IBM BPM environment.
- Utilize Java for backend development, including integration with other systems and databases.
- Perform testing and debugging of BPM applications to ensure quality and performance.
- Optimize existing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop documentation for process designs, technical specifications, and user guides.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to BPM applications.
- Stay updated on IBM BPM technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IBM BPM Developer, with a strong understanding of BPM concepts.
- Proficiency in Java programming and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
- Experience with IBM BPM tools and technologies (e.g., IBM Business Process Manager, IBM Integration Designer).
- Knowledge of database technologies (e.g., SQL, Oracle, DB2).
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of other BPM tools and frameworks (e.g., Camunda, Pega) is a plus.
- Certifications in IBM BPM or Java are advantageous.
