Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
As SSHO, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
▫ Implement and ensure the project Health and Safety Plan is adhered to.
▫ Coordinate with the other members of the project team to effectively execute the Safety Requirements of each project.
▫ Familiarize yourself with the Task Order(s) Scope of Work and requirements.
▫ Weekly progress meetings with the Project Manager.
▫ Managing all vendors, suppliers, and subcontractor’s safety requirements (AHA’s, Lift Plans, Fall Protection, etc.) in a timely manner so it does not interfere or delay the project.
▫ Assist with the progress and safety reporting requirements.
▫ Work directly with the Clients to support needs as they arise.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the overall safety supervision of All Aspects of Construction, Operations Management, Materials, Subcontractors, and Personnel on the Project.

Education: Preferable Bachelor’s Degree
Certification: Current certificate for 40 Hour EM 385 1.1 and CQC
Safety: OSHA 30, 24 Hour Fall Protection, First Aid, CPR
Experience: 10 years Safety experience, 5 years preferable
▫ Experience as a Site Safety and Health Officer on NAVFAC or USACE managed projects
▫ Experience in the use of NAVFAC - WORD, EXCEL and pdf Templates
▫ Experience in writing meeting agendas, conducting Safety Meetings and writing daily reports
▫ Experience organizing, managing and filing Safety documentation.
▫ Experience managing deficiencies and following up on DOR/EOR Field Reports and Directives
