We are a fast-paced, Chicago-based, luxury interior design firm comprised of four distinct business divisions – residential interior design, commercial interiors, product development, and commercial property development. We seek a talented, organized, and driven professional with more than 5 years of residential interior design experience to join our team as a full-time Senior Interior Designer in our Naples, Florida office. Successful candidates will help lead a design team to provide the utmost in design services and client experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design from an accredited institution
- 5+ years of luxury residential experience
- NCIDQ certification is beneficial; however, not mandatory
Successful Candidate Profile:
- Possess keen design sensibility
- Adept in custom furniture and product design
- Excellent knowledge of unique resources
- Experienced in site supervision and on-site decision-making
- Able to mentor and assist in creating growth opportunities for design team members as needed
- Possess solid client management skills, including ability to take command of project from start to finish, drive decision-making processes, display confidence in ideas presented, and think quickly to ensure forward movement during client interactions
- Able to prioritize competing project demands
- Detail oriented, and possess excellent follow-through
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Suite; InDesign, Adobe Suite a bonus
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design Leadership
- Project Leadership
- Organizing meetings and presentations for client meetings
- Ownership of all client deliverables (i.e., proposals, budgets, drawings, etc.)
- Reviewing expediting report on a regular basis with procurement team, follow-up on critical path items.
- Oversight of project installations and delegating items until final completion
- Mentoring design team, educating them in the design process wherever needed
