As a Technical Writer / Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating clear and concise documentation while coordinating project timelines and resources to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Writing:
- Develop, write, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, process guides, and system specifications.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and clarify technical details.
- Edit and proofread documentation for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Create and maintain documentation templates and standards to improve efficiency and quality.
Project Coordination:
- Assist in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting notes and action items.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
Experience & Skills:
- Experience in technical writing and project coordination
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, practices, and products. Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex security concepts in a clear and relatable manner.
- Proficient in documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Confluence).
- Familiarity with project management software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The hourlyrange for roles of this nature are $20 to $30/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location and industry.
