Job title : Campaign Marketing Manager (Direct Mail)
Location : Preference to EST working hours.
Standard hours: log in 8-9am EST; log out 5-6pm EST, Mon-Fri. Two-weeks before any major US holiday are peak volume periods and ability to be available to work strongly preferred
Duration: 6 months; possible extensions
MUST HAVE: Strong experience in working with email campaigns. Experience in Workfront or equivalent project management platform. Experience in quality assurance and/or auditing.
Role Summary/Purpose:
The Campaign Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring thoughtful, on time delivery of Direct Marketing projects supporting internal client marketing campaigns. This role manages list selection and segmentation, build, audit and deployment of marketing campaign direct mail. The Campaign Marketing Manager is an expert in project management, process best practices and channel execution capabilities.
This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person technical set-up.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Liaise with Client Marketing Team and stakeholders within Performance Marketing to deliver effective and timely direct mail campaign projects
• Manage the file selection, segmentation and facilitate accurate execution of direct marketing audiences
• Work within direct mail process and with direct mail vendors to bid print job and execute campaigns
• Ensure adherence to company purchase order and including compliance with records retention, invoice management and procedures
• Perform creative and data auditing and testing to ensure campaign accuracy
• Manage file selection and segmentation of Synchrony channel marketing campaigns and facilitate accurate execution of “file only” requests
• Drive data driven cost savings back to client teams for continuous campaign improvement
• Update workflow management tool in real time to inform Pod managers and project initiators on campaign project status and timing
• Work within agile, fast-paced marketing environment
• Continued cross-channel upskilling in email, direct mail and mobile campaign execution, and other channels as added
• Utilize project management tool to ensure all campaigns meet required campaign approval, retention, testing, launch and documentation requirements within the Campaign Execution process
• Drive continued adoption and consistent usage of Performance Marketing process tools by team and clients, including compliance with records retention
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or in lieu of degree high school diploma/GED and a minimum of 6 years of Marketing or Digital project experience
• A minimum of 3 years working with direct mail vendors to bid print job and execute and audit print campaigns
• Minimum of 2 years project management and workflow updating skills. Working in a PM platform like Workfront preferred
Desired Characteristics:
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven or agile environment
• Experience in consumer financial services with exposure to a credit card or retail environment
• Experience working with data segmentation and data auditing
• Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems, develop new tactics and address implementation obstacles
• Strong Change Management skills - effective communicator, good at holding "crucial conversations" with clients and internal partners
• Demonstrated aptitude in the Microsoft Office suite including SharePoint, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint
