Monitors and documents individual activities performed by the contractor to monitor compliance with specifications, plans, and other contract provisions. Works closely with experienced engineers/CM on various field projects to develop field experience in techniques, approaches, and procedures and the nature of engineering systems, equipment, etc.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Construction Manager and Project Manager.
- Auditing applications for payment.
- Quality Control.
- Reviewing submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, project related correspondence, and daily inspection reports.
- Assist with document control.
- Tracking and documenting non-conforming work.
- Helping process change orders, claims, and revisions to schedules and budgets.
- Project closeout.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in a related construction, engineering, or technical discipline, or equivalent.
- Must be able to pass security clearance requirements and background check.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
