Our client is a ski resort in Montana and they are looking to hire a General Manager of Hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Financial Management:
- Develop and implement strategies to position the resort as a leader in mountain hospitality.
- Set and achieve financial targets for hospitality operations.
- Manage CAPEX to ensure long-term profitability and enhance guest experiences.
- Use data-driven decision-making to optimize performance across departments.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee hospitality operations (Lodging, F&B, Retail, IT, Events, Conference Services).
- Maintain high service standards and continuously improve operational efficiency.
- Track and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) across all departments.
Guest Experience & Innovation:
- Lead innovative hospitality initiatives that align with the brand.
- Achieve industry recognition for lodging and dining outlets.
- Improve guest satisfaction and Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
Team Leadership & Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing team.
- Implement training programs to maintain service standards.
- Foster a culture of excellence and innovation aligned with the brand values.
Brand Alignment & Experience Design:
- Design signature experiences that set the resort apart in the resort industry.
- Collaborate with marketing to promote unique hospitality offerings.
Stakeholder Management & Community Relations:
- Build strong relationships with partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Represent the resort at industry forums and community events.
- Ensure operations contribute positively to the local community and environment.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years in luxury hospitality or high-end resort management is required.
- Proven success in financial performance and operational excellence.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality operations (Lodging, F&B, Retail, Events).
- Expertise in guest experience innovation.
- Excellent financial management and leadership skills.
- Strategic thinker with effective execution.
- Passion for the outdoors and mountain lifestyle.
- Must be open to relocating to Montana.
The salary range for this role is $150,000-$275,000, commensurate with experience.
