Kelly Government Solutions is seeking a Sr. Medical Advisor – Pediatric Emergency Preparedness & Response to support the Center for Response (CFR) within the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR). Role involves full-time work (40 hours/week) and supports a hybrid work arrangement in that requires on-site work at least 1 day/week in ASPR's Washington, DC office.

TASKS/SERVICES
(1) Support the Center for Response within the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) by providing scientific and technical insight and guidance on pediatric Intensive Care Unit (ICU) surge due disasters and infectious diseases.
(2) Facilitate supportive liaison engagement between HHS/ASPR and national organizations focused on pediatric issues, including but not limited to the Health Resources and Service Administration (HRSA), Pediatric Centers of Excellence, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office for the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH), National Children’s Hospital Association, Pediatric Hospitals, American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), etc.
(3) Provide scientific and technical consultation on the development of strategies around outreach and senior leader engagement for pediatric activities such as designing and implementing just in time resources for hospitals and advocating for appropriate resources to help with pediatric issues and ICU capacity.
(4) Serve as a scientific and technical consultant resource to help hospital systems navigate the federal-private partnerships.
(5) Serve as subject matter expert as crisis standards of care (CSC), surge standards, and other critical care guidance are developed/implemented by HHS/ASPR and engage in dissemination strategies in conjunction w HHS/ASPR
(6) Assist with design, implementation, and guidance related to CSC in conjunction with health systems and appropriate federal officials
(7) Conduct travel with leadership and/or other program staff to provide scientific and technical consultation as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
(1) Master’s or doctoral degree in public health, medicine, nursing, or health-related discipline
(2) Specialized experience related to pediatric emergency management preparedness, planning, and response
(3) US Citizenship with minimum of Public Trust Clearance in order to meet contract requirements
