Job Description:
- Migrate reference data providers from FactSet to Bloomberg for the Fixed Income business unit.
- The effort is to analyze, identify, and document the existing business processes, technology tools, internal and external connections, and data values leveraged by a business unit (Fixed Income) of a specific reference data provider’s (FactSet) data set.
- The analysis and documentation will be then used to define a new set of business processes, potentially technology toolset, and relevant data values using another reference data provider’s (Bloomberg) data sets.
High-Level Tasks
- Map and document current processes/fields/reports in FactSet.
- Perform mapping exercise to Bloomberg.
- Capture requirements, screenshots, and voice of the end user, to determine all key dependencies and needs for migration.
- Documentation
- Escalation of issues and risks, collaboration with key stakeholders for resolution and recurrence prevention
- Monitoring, analysis, and SLA management related to audit replies/responses.
- Providing status updates, and supporting the creation of presentation slides
