Lyte Fiber, LLC (“Lyte”) is seeking an accomplished and experienced telecommunications IT project management professional to fill the position of IT Program Manager. Lyte is a private-equity backed fiber broadband start-up with ambitious plans to scale and expand its FTTH, SMB and MDU business lines across multiple regions. The program manager will be joining an experienced team that brings decades of fiber broadband, infrastructure and technology experience with a proven track record of building and growing highly-successful businesses.
The IT Program Manager will play a crucial role responsible for taking company-wide, mission critical IT technology infrastructure from project inception through final implementation. This role will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution and implementation of the IT systems while ensuring the end user business requirements and processes are successfully documented, adopted and implemented. This role will also require facilitating collaboration across departments to ensure an efficient end-to-end process is developed, and the system requirements are captured in support of the process. This individual should feel comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and possess excellent organization and communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· IT Program Management has end-to-end oversight of key programs to ensure they align with business objectives. Key programs include, but are not limited to, the successful deployment of the following systems but not limited to: CRM, order management, self-service portal, OSS/BSS, call center application, omni channel communication, automated service provisioning, network monitoring, system integrations, etc.
· Work across the IT organization and Lyte as a whole to ensure programs are delivered on time and in scope with an aggressive delivery schedule, while adhering to budget and quality expectations.
· Must leverage interactions at all levels across the company to ensure program/project execution moves forward towards successful delivery.
· Must handle multiple priorities simultaneously and dynamically prioritize the work as required to meet the critical milestones.
· Manage scope creep and drive towards simplicity and clarity to meet project goals and business solutions.
· Develop and implement robust change management processes to handle scope changes. This includes evaluating change requests, assessing their impact and obtaining necessary approvals.
· Engage with stakeholders from different departments to understand their needs, gather requirements and integrate their input into the project plan.
· Manage and resolve issues and competing priorities across cross-functional teams while being diligent to ensure the critical milestones are being met.
· Coordinate with departmental leaders to allocate and manage resources effectively, ensuring that each department has the necessary support to meet project objectives.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for program-related communications, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed of progress, risks and issues.
· Identify and manage interdependencies between departmental activities, ensuring that potential conflicts are resolved, synergies are maximized and project progress is not hindered.
· Ensure that all coordination activities, agreements and decisions are thoroughly documented and accessible to all relevant parties.
· Create detailed project timelines that outline key milestones, deliverables and deadlines, ensuring alignment with project goals and stakeholder expectations.
· Develop comprehensive schedules that allocate resources, set realistic timeframes and account for potential risks and dependencies, while developing contingency plans to mitigate these risks.
· Select and utilize project management tools and software to develop, track and maintain the project timeline, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all team members.
· Collaborate with various departments to gather requirements and understand business processes to develop comprehensive test cases.
· Ensure test cases are aligned with project goals and objectives and that they encompass testing the functional requirements, integration requirements, and user acceptance testing.
· Document and maintain a repository of test cases, ensuring they are updated and revised as needed based on feedback and project changes.

Minimum Qualifications:
· Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
· Years of Experience: 8-10 years of experience in IT program or project management, with a focus on managing large-scale, mission-critical IT infrastructure projects.
· In-depth industry knowledge of IT systems relevant to an Internet Service Provider’s operation.
· Proficiency in using project management tools and software to develop, track, and maintain project timelines and schedules.
· Basic understanding of API’s and system integration standards to exchange information between software applications.
· Understanding of fiber optic network infrastructure and related serving offerings would be beneficial.
· Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving projects forward and achieving business objectives.
· Demonstrated success in delivering complex IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget, especially in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
· Extensive experience working with cross-functional teams, engaging with stakeholders from different departments, and managing interdependencies across multiple functions.
· Strong background in developing and implementing change management processes, handling scope changes, and resolving competing priorities.
· Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization, including business sponsors and vendors.
