Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Experience working in a large, multi-location organization is highly desirable.

With 20+ locations and a robust team of 15 G/L Accountants, they are committed to delivering top-tier healthcare services. The General Ledger Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, supporting the overall financial health of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and complete.
- Prepare and review journal entries, adjusting entries, and handle account and cash reconciliations
- Capital purchases, analyses and uploads to FAS.
- Performs monthly report analysis.
- Assists management with compiling data for internal and external audits.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with GAAP and organizational policies.
- With 20+ locations they will need experience with consolidated accounting.
- Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports for management review.
- Collaborate with team members to implement best practices and streamline workflows.
Requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Working knowledge of general accounting concepts and full-cycle accounting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
