Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Android Bluetooth Test Engineer with a strong background in Bluetooth testing and Android platform knowledge. The candidate should have expertise in testing, log analysis, Bluetooth profiles, and the Ellisys tool, along with performing root cause analysis and a deep understanding of the Android framework and related tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong working knowledge of the Android Bluetooth platform.
- Proficient in the Android framework and ADB (Android Debug Bridge) commands.
- Capable of conducting log triage and performing root cause analysis.
- Expertise in Bluetooth testing, including various Bluetooth profiles and the use of sniffer tools like Ellisys.
- Good understanding of Linux and Python commands.
- Ability to analyze business functions and identify test scenarios including positive, negative, regression, upgrade, and UAT testing.
- Hands-on experience in writing and executing test scenarios, test cases, and performing test execution.
- In-depth knowledge of defect life cycle, software development life cycle (SDLC), and software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Understanding of various testing methodologies and approaches.
- Knowledge of automation using Python is a plus.
- Strong functional and domain understanding of the current project.
- Adaptability to learn and use new testing tools and technologies as per project requirements.
