A healthcare organization in Maryland is currently seeking a Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C) and/or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join their Oncology program in Baltimore.

- Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities:
The Oncology Social Worker (LCSW-C / LMSW) will:
- Provide direct psychological, social, and practical care to a select caseload of patients and families,
- Provide psychosocial assessments, problem identification, goal setting, short-term counseling and advance care planning.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Contribute to department programming and special events
- Collaborate with local, state and national organizations/agencies
- Contribute to the interprofessional education of healthcare and social work learners
Qualifications:
- MSW degree from an accredited School of Social Work
- Must be licensed by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners or eligible, Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C) and/or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience providing clinical healthcare social work preferably, in an acute care setting (internship may apply)
Desire Skills:
