Optomi, in parternship with a leading insurance agency, is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join their growing team in Hartford, CT!
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using C# and .NET.
- Collaborate with frontend developers using Angular to ensure seamless integration between backend and frontend systems.
- Work within both Azure cloud and on-premises environments to deliver scalable solutions.
- Utilize a variety of technologies to enhance system capabilities and efficiencies.
- Lead API-based orchestration between systems, ensuring smooth data flow and integration.
- Query and manipulate data efficiently using SQL and JSON.
- Navigate and adapt to a rapidly changing environment, establishing new development patterns and design principles.
- Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the external platform.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on C# and .NET.
- Proficiency in Angular or similar frontend frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with Azure cloud services and on-premises deployment.
- Solid understanding of API orchestration and integration between systems.
- Strong skills in data querying and manipulation, particularly with SQL and JSON.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and drive the establishment of new patterns and designs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
