Construction Project Administrator
Location: North Auburn
Schedule: Onsite, 7:30 AM - 4 PM
Pay Range: $21 - $26 per hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Project Assistant to join our team in North Auburn. This role is essential for supporting project management activities in a fast-paced construction environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction and strong organizational skills to ensure the smooth operation of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project staff to create strategic action plans and cost estimates for materials, time, labor, and other resources required to complete projects.
- Facilitate and contribute to the development of project plans and designs.
- Recommend and analyze materials, equipment, and practices used in the project.
- Assess the competence, capabilities, resources, and financial status of vendors.
- Supervise progress on development projects, ensuring milestones are met.
- Compare actual project costs to estimates, identifying variances.
- Work closely with the design group to modify plans as issues arise.
- Analyze equipment, systems, and processes to identify modifications that improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.
- Prepare periodic progress and cost reports for leadership.
- Ensure compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the operations department to identify and troubleshoot project-related problems.
- Work with project engineers from other teams to share challenges and solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support project success.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a construction-related role preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
