Due to Retirement my client is looking for a Senior Technician (Lead Mechanic) for their Power Generation plant in Windsor Locks, it is a "Self-Sustaining Micro Station".
Operational since 2002, the Co-Gen Plant consists of 3 Waukesha RICE (Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines) powered by natural gas from 1400kw to 1800kw powering a combination of ABB, Marelli and Kato generators along side 3 Chillers and 2 Dual Fuel (Gas/Oil) Boilers and can generate up to 6MW of electricity, usually running at around 3-4MW.
Ideally coming from a mechanical engineering / engine maintenance background you will be responsible for:
- Mentoring 2 on site Technicians
- Hands on diagnosis, repairs and maintenance
- Preventative Maintenance
- Corrective Maintenance
- Pre-emptive maintenance
- Managing the SCADA system
- Managing the CMMS system
- Balance of Plant
Package:
- Base salary of $50 per hour (40 hour week)
- Overtime paid at 1.5x base with a min of 4 hours paid on call out
