Bequest is one of the fastest-growing Asset Management companies located in Sarasota, FL. We are currently seeking a talented Appointment Setter to join our dynamic team for a summer position. This position reports directly to the Investor Relations Team. The position is office based and NOT a remote position. Local candidates only. As the Appointment Setter, you will be responsible for reaching out to potential investors through cold and warm calls to schedule appointments for our investor relations team. You will use our CRM system to track leads, follow up on prospects, and manage customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to cold and warm leads generated by our marketing team.
- Build rapport with potential clients and engage them in conversations to qualify leads.
- Schedule appointments for the IR team with qualified prospects.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all calls, appointments, and interactions in the CRM system.
- Follow up with leads to nurture relationships and ensure continued interest.
- Collaborate with the investor relations and marketing teams to optimize lead conversion.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly call and appointment-setting targets.
Qualifications and skills
- Previous experience in appointment setting, telemarketing, customer service, or sales is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (experience with Hubspot is a plus).
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and goal oriented.
- Comfortable making calls daily with a value-add proposition.
- Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to establish rapport quickly.
- Active listening and problem-solving skills.
- Time management and the ability to multitask.
- Basic computer skills, including CRM and Microsoft Office.
