Position: Building Enclosures Architect/Engineer
Location: Los Angeles/Long Beach California
Terms: Full-Time
Metric are representing a specialist firm in innovative building enclosure solutions. We are searching for an Architect/Engineer and Project Manager with extensive experience in waterproofing various building enclosure systems.
Responsibilities:
You will manage a variety of building enclosure projects from design through post-construction investigation, providing project management and contributing to the development of construction documents, details, and specifications.
- Develop and observe construction for remedial design and new construction consultation.
- Identify installation defects and produce daily reports and records of construction activities.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Building Science
- Registered Architect or Engineer
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in roofing and waterproofing system design, installation, and materials.
- Experience with roofing, waterproofing, stucco, siding, windows, sealants, and other building envelope areas
Additional:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (required) and Revit (preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Current driver's license and reliable transportation.
