Peterson’s, a Denver-based EdTech SaaS and publisher, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Career Prep division comprised of our RMC Learning Solutions (https://rmcls.com/) and Dean Vaughn Career Prep (https://deanvaughn.com/) brands. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, initiating conversations with potential clients, and contributing to the overall growth of the organization. Our clients include educational institutions at the high school and collegiate level, as well as large corporations. Responsibilities:
- Outreach: Manage a sales funnel by reaching out to leads that are identified by our strategic marketing efforts.
- Relationship Building: Drive conversations by assessing lead quality and potential through effective questioning to determine the fit with our products and services, and pass qualified leads to the sales team.
- Customer Reactivation: Follow up with lapsed clients to identify new decision makers, engage and qualify them, and place them in our sales funnel.
- Collaboration: Work closely with account executives and the marketing team to align sales strategies and share insights on customer needs and market trends.
- Maintain CRM: Accurately document and track all prospect interactions and pipeline activities in our CRM system to enable effective follow-up and reporting.
- Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for leads generated and qualified opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Driven by the excitement of reaching and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Very comfortable on the phone with good written skills
- A proactive, self-starter attitude with a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales productivity tools (e.g. HubSpot) is preferred.
- Previous experience in business development or sales is a plus but not required.

- Hybrid work model with remote and in office, located just north of the Denver Tech Center
- Bachelor's degree
Compensation:
- Competitive base salary with uncapped commissions with OTE of $50K-60K
